Put in People's Hearts
During the last few days, I have been thinking
alot about Alan and what he
faced in the professional stock car racing world during the late 80's - early 1990's.
This is the reason why I have wiped this page out
STRAIGHT BLACK
You can surely say that I am going through the same things that he was
going through, such as:
I'm from the North
So was Alan
I am Catholic
So was Alan
I am a person of strong faith
So was Alan
I have faced obstacles in Racing
So has Alan
However, I choose to stay positive.
That is by my own admission.
I don't let anyone's hate or jealousy
weigh on my soul.
There are some people out there who claim to know, or want to know, and yet have
malicious intent, and I pray for them every day...
It's really sad that there are some people in this world just out to destroy
and belittle people.
I also feel bad for the men of this sport who believe women should not be here,
or should be used for ornaments
or toys...
What a shame you can't open your mind!
As I look at Alan's funeral prayer card,
I feel inspired to share it with you...
Please read it and see how it applies to every day life.
Don't Quit
WHEN THINGS GO WRONG as they some times will,

DON'T GIVE UP though the pace seems slow--
YOU MAY SUCCEED WITH ANOTHER BLOW.
Success is failure turned inside out-
The silver that lines the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
SO STICK TO THE FIGHT when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that YOU MUST NOT QUIT
